What do you think about these girls names?

Bailey

Jordan

London

Addison

Malanea

Bailey and Jordan are "Unisex" names.

What do you think about these girls names?
From your list, I think Jordan and London are the best choices.

While I agree that Bailey is gender neutral, I find it a bit over - along with Riley. We've just heard too much of them.

Addison - and Madison - just seem to blend in with all the girls sharing those names. Factor in Adeline, Adalyn, Madeleine, Madelynn and so on and they don't seem very distinctive or interesting any more.

Malanea puzzles me - I'm not sure how to say it. I could come up with two or three reasonable pronunciations, and I find that problematic. Is it mal EE nah, mal AH nee ah, mal AY nee ah ...

But London and Jordan have some strength. They're valid place names, and wear well on a child or an adult.
Reply:Not big on Bailey, probably cause I know a girl named Bailey and she has no common sense and is perpetually clueless :O)

I love Addison, I know a little girl named Addison Sterling--she's named Sterling for her grandfather and I think it's adorable. London is cute too. The owner of the daycare center that I teach at has little girls named Aspen and Paris. That's where they're going for their Senior trips (Aspen kinda got screwed in my point of view, hehe).
Reply:Bailey and Jordan are surnames, and therefore masculine.

London is a city, not a name.

Addison is masculine and means SON OF ADAM.

Malanea looks made up.

Try again.

Bailey and Jordan aren't "unisex". There's nothing feminine, girly, or unisex about masculine names.
Reply:But that is the point. It sounds masculine, it has a masculine meaning, so it's MASCULINE.

And changing the spelling of Bailey isn't going to change the fact that it too sounds masculine. And if anything, it just makes you more ignorant as well as illiterate.

Hope you don't have kids, for their sake.
Reply:Bailey and Jordan are fine. Not crazy about London or Addison.

Really don't like Malanea. It's too precious and nobody will ever know how to say it or spell it.

Oddly enough, I've had two male beagles in my life. They were named Bailey and Addison.
Reply:Addison is cute out of those. if you like 'unisex' or 'guy' names for girls, then i like austin, kyle, ryan %26amp; corey

just balance them out with a feminine middle name

austin nicole

kyle michelle

ryan elisabeth

corey grace

addison noelle

addison nicole

addison michelle

addison grace

addison emily
Reply:Bailee is cool and looks more feminine than Bailey

London is Chic, I like this a lot!

Jordan is ok...

Addison is ok, I like Addie but I prefer Maddison or Madison

Malanea looks too much like Melaena to me... so I don't like it.
Reply:Bailey, Jordan, and Addison are masculine. Especially Addison. Girls are daughters, not sons.

London and Malanea are yuck.
Reply:I like Bailey both spellings are good

if you like Bailey, consider Breighley pronounced: bry-leigh

Reply:i love the names bailey/ (especially spelled Bailee), London and Addison. They are so uniquely different and they would have some wicked names.
Reply:They're all horrid, especially since the majority aren't even girl names, but boy names.
Reply:I don't really care for Malanea or London but I especially love Addison.
Reply:I like Addison, and London could be cute.
