My cousin is having a baby and she is thinking of the names McCall and Isabella. What do you think of them?

hmm..i dont like Mccall, it sounds like a surnames or a pack of crisps, but it IS unique, and some people like it. Isabellas my name :) I like the name Isabella, also you can have lots of nicknames for it, my friends call me, Izzie, Bella, Ella, Isabelle, Belle, Elle, Belles.

Isabella is also cute and there are lots of cute nicknames with that name too like Izzy or Bell or Bella. They're both really pretty but if I had my choice of the two I would definitely go with McCall.

Well, not McCall in any case!! However, I love Isabella!! I read a book about an Isobel who her Spanish friend called her Isabella and I really like it!! So, go for it!! ;-D

I think Isabella is a lovely name, but it's becoming very popular, so as long as they don't mind if their daughter has the same name as lots of other girls her age, go for it.

Reply:McCall is a surname. It literally means "son of Call", pretty terrible girl's name. Isabella is fairly standard, and not bullying material. Probably best off with Isabella.
