Reply:I like:

Cecelia - Just a pretty name over all.

Clarissa - Same as above.

Adelaide - This is actually one of my favorite names. Just so nice sounding

Olive - Pretty

Lottie - Neat name. I looove the name Lettie, and this is similar.

Susannah - Oh Susannah, Oh don't you cry for me... I like the name, and I herd it in a book once. They called her Suze for short.

Evelyn - Just a nice sounding name. I like anything with Lyn in it.

Zoa - I like a new Z name that isn't Zoe or Zoey.

Alice - My grandmothers name, so I have a certain fondness for it.

Marietta - I LOVE names that end in -etta. I just love the sound.

Now...Don't like:

Wealthy -Uhm, it kinda screams "wealthy"...literally.

Watie - Watie...sounds like a duck! Not what I would name a baby girl....

Ursula - The name is just kinda...ick.

Tamson - "-son" means son of...Tam? I kinda think names ending with -son should stick to boy.

Experiance - Uhm, experience? Really not a name I would want for a girl. I mean, sure...back then people weren't as perverted...or at least as verbal about it. Its just "I betcha Experiance is experienced!! "

Hittie - Just don't like the sound, and it sounds like hitt-ie. Like violence.

Franc - Frank? Uhm, no. I just don't like it.

Beulah - I just don't like it

Silence - Nope, don't like it.

Eusebia - Don't like it. Just sounds...blech.

Reply:Oh MY! too many names to pick from! But doesn't "Freelove" catch your eye and make you wonder?
Reply:I actually like a large number of these!!

My ten faves are:

1. Anne- Honestly I LOVE this name. It is so simple and sweet (but a tad overused as a middle name). I think Anne is way more appealing than the more popular now-a-days Anna.

2. Calista- simply a favorite name. I love it

3. Emeline- this is on my own list.

4. Eugenia- I love the sound of this...it just rolls our of my mouth.

5. Juliet- I used to dislike this name, but now I simply love it.

6. Keturah- one of my most favorite names.

7. Lavinia- so sweet.

8. Mary- similar to Anne, she deserves some limelight. She's soo sweet

9. Rosamond- while I prefer Rosaline. I think this version is nice as well.

10. Tirzah- Another fave. I think it just sounds beautiful and looks so quirky.

least faves:

1. Achsah- I don't care of the way it looks, nor do I care for how it sounds in the several different ways I've tried to pronounce it.

2. Beulah- I want to like this name, but it simply has one of the least appealing sounds ever.

3. Cleantha- Just, unappealing.

4. Dora- I really had this name. Honestly, I prefer Dorcas to this.

5. Dorinda- most "inda" names I don't really care for.

6. Estimate- I'm all for word names...but this one just isn't cool

7. Freelove- would definitely be teased now-a-days. However I like both Free and Love.

8. Gertrude- just unappealing sound. And honestly, the nics Gerty and Trudy make is worse.

9. Lemonyne- reminds me to much of lemons.

10. Oraville- Honestly, I like Orval/Orville for a boy...and I like Ora for a girl...but I'm not but on this name.
