What is your opinion on these girls' names?

Kylie (sounds like Kyleeee)

Caileigh (Sounds like Cay lee)

What is your opinion on these girls' names?
both very pretty
Reply:I like both, but Caileigh is a very common name.
Reply:Caileigh.

I love it (:

I know nobody called either Kylie or Caileigh, so in my opinion you wouldn't have the problem of too many Kylie / Caileighs in one class at school.

Caileigh is beautiful, in both the way it sounds and the way it looks written down. Don't change the spelling - i hate to sound stuck-up, but writing it another way may look like you're trying to be "modern" or trying to change a name that's already individual into something truly "unique" - and when that happens the result isn't normally good.

Caileigh is traditionally celtic, so it will last for ever and not become out-dated, and if you're into the physcological side of things it would also help your daughter to stay in touch with that side of her family heritage.

Congratulations, I hope that all goes well with the birth.
Reply:Both lovely
Reply:Kylie I think that's beautiful.....
Reply:I really like both of them! They are cute for little girls, but not too off the wall for when they are older. I've liked Kylie ever since the movie Practical Magic, and I love the name Caileigh also.
Reply:They are both very "cute" but I don't like the spelling of Caileigh- too convoluted. Go with Cailey, Caylee, or something simpler.
Reply:Pretentious. Or, porno stars.
Reply:I LIKE ( K-LEE) BUT SPELL IT WITH A K AND NOT C. KALI OR KALEE
Reply:I don't like either one.
Reply:i like Caileigh pronunciation best i have a niece who's name is Kayley i like that spelling also

Kaileigh

Kaeleigh

Cayleigh

Cayley
Reply:i really like these names. im think about naming my girl( when i get preggo) Karlie
Reply:They're overused. Is your attraction the Gaelic connection, meaning or the sound? Perhaps Calla, like the flower? Not quite the same sound, but close.
Reply:I think they are really over used right now (spelled all different ways). Of the two, I like Kylie the best. I also like Kyle for a girl.
Reply:I like Kylie better. Plus your daughter will be spared from years and years of people mispronouncing her name and having to correct them.
Reply:I like the name Kylie. Not too keen on the name Caileigh, esp. with the spelling you've chosen. I'd go with Kaylee or Kayleigh to avoid confusion on pronunciation and spelling. Another similar name that I really like...Kyrie.
Reply:I love them! I also love the name Callie. Congrats :)
Reply:Kayleigh will likely cause less confusion in the long-run. That's my niece's name
Reply:Caileigh flat out SUCKS. if you were my mom, and you named me that, with that stupid spelling, id hate you forever.

HOWEVER......i have a cousin named Kylie, and i always thought that was a cool name. when we were kids, she was the only one, but now its really common. Oh well, its still cool. I vote for Kylie
Reply:I really like Caileigh and I say spell it however you want!! I think it looks very beautiful with that spelling : )
Reply:Both are pretty, but I prefer Kylie.
Reply:i like both!
Reply:pretty but trendy
Reply:I like both names. I think Caileigh will sound better on an adult though, while Kylie sounds like a little girl. But I don't think you can go wrong with either, but I'd definitely give my vote to Caileigh. It is beautiful.
Reply:Both are absurd and make their bearer sound like an aspiring Australasian prostitute or singer. Get a proper name!
Reply:I love Kylie! Actually that is what I am naming my daughter lol. Caileigh is cute to.
Reply:both really pretty names. i like the Caileigh one. it sounds beautiful.
Reply:i like caileigh, i think it sounds more feminine
Reply:I like both and I know girls with both. Kaylee and Kyliegh
