What do you think of my twin girls names?

Adda May and Edin Joy





I always get complimented on their names, and I was wondering if it is sugar coated because we are face to face. Now I know you guys won't sugar coat it. So tell me what you think of them. Remember I love their names though, so don't be too harsh. Thanks!





BTW: In my picture Adda is too the left and Edin on the right. Adda is my little peanut, while Edin is my meatball! Haha.

What do you think of my twin girls names?
OK, to tell you the truth, I love them.


They remind me of books much like the little house on the prarie or the Cristy tv series.


I really like them for their old fashioned qualities - the way you can just say them together and they sound like one name (word) is adorable %26amp; charming.


When someone states a question like this I take care to look up the name at least once because name meanings can be important.


Ada - I couldn't find the same spelling on this web site - means "Nobel, Kind" (German) %26amp; May, from Mary, means "Bitter heart" %26amp; is Latin.


Eden - couldn' find the same spelling for this either, sorry - means "Paradise" %26amp; is from Hebrew. Joy (of corse) means "Joy" (Latin). Because these are already your childerns names I wouldn't suggest changing them, they are beautiul names plus, I have a sister who has the name May %26amp; I love her to bits, I just thought you should know -God Bless :)

Reply:Honestly, I'm not a huge fan. I think Adda sounds like a child-ish nickname and she will soon grow out of it. Edin is ok, but I prefer Eden. I think May and Joy are overused and plain. Overall, they are not horrible and your girls are absolutley adorable. :) Sorry if I sounded rude. :)
Reply:I think the names are great together! I'm not a fan of the spelling of Edin, I like Eden, but that's my only negative thought. I think the 3 letter middle names ending in "Y" is a cute way to have their names "match" like twins, but still be totally different. Awesome names!
Reply:I don't really like them . I mean Adda is okay, but I think she will grow out of it as she ages. Edin is the better name, in my opinion.
